The NZ Landscape and Garden Supplies February 2015 Newsletter
Welcome to 2015
Well the silly season is over and we are now well into the New Year.
Already 2015 is shaping up to be a year of growth and this will bring demand for high quality product and service from the Landscape and Garden Supply industry.
Luckily NZ Landscape and Garden Supplies are ready, willing and able to step into the breach and provide the support our customers demand. We have a range of exciting new Masonry products ready for launch in the next couple of months and as soon as trials are completed we will be bringing you a range of activities to get everyone up to speed with the “best practice” for the use of these products.
Hay will be back in-store within the next few weeks. We are just waiting for a few more days of sunshine to dry out the grass and we will bring stock into all of our larger stores.
We have our own supply this year and while it doesn’t make it cheaper we should have sufficient to last right through the season.
Have You Heard?
For the months leading up to Christmas I was on radio speaking with Leighton Smith and extolling the virtues of dealing with NZ Landscape and Garden Supplies. This proved very successful and beneficial to our trading prior to and after Christmas. We were the only Landscape supply company in Auckland that bothered to stay open other than the stat days of the holiday period and that coupled with the radio promotion certainly made trading very worthwhile.
So, I would like to extend an invitation particularly to our suppliers to join us in promoting your product through my time on air with Leighton. Living Earth have done it, Bowers Bros Concrete have done it and we have already got the next one lined up for this month, February. If you are interested please contact me directly by phone.
Mulch, Mulch, Mulch.
When is the right time to Mulch? That’s right, all the time.
When is it not the right time to mulch? Never.
We have a large number of mulch products suitable for you or your clients and we have lots of it.
At any one time each of our yards can have up to 150m3 of Mulch or Mulch like products and right now with the lack of rain and an extended dry spell ahead of us take the opportunity to get stuck in and do it.
Mulch, Mulch, Mulch.
Can we help in any way to source products, find a contractor, maybe just a little advice about products? Please don’t hesitate to contact any one of our yards or ask for your favourite staff member for assistance.
We look forward to seeing you in-store in the near future, so happy gardening and enjoy the warm weather.
