The NZ Landscape and Garden Supplies Monthly Newsletter

Designex/Buildnz Expo

This event held last month was a great success and generated over 200 leads for our Retaining, Paving and Masonry products manufactured by Bowers Brothers Concrete. It was a showcase for new and innovative products for the building and construction industry.

It was great to meet and talk to many of our product users but at a Specifier/Architect level and be able to present ourselves and our products without obligation or compromise.

NZ Landscape helped with Bower Brothers’ stand at Designex/Buildnz.

Rolawn Turf

Already we are having a continuous demand to collect the Rolawn Turf product from our Albany Yard at 15 Gills Rd just down from Albany Toyota.

• You can purchase from us
• You can use your Rolawn account and collect from us
• You can drop your empty pallets with us and we will get them back to Rolawn.
Just contact James at our Albany yard on 09 414 1999 or deal with Dickie at Rolawn for details.

Using ROLAWN is very cost effective when compared to the time consuming process of sowing and husbandry of a growing lawn from seed. ROLAWN adds instant street appeal and value, making a property sell quicker at a better price.

Lighter, stronger and easier to handle than other brands, ROLAWN is quicker to lay with less waste and less fuss, saving landscaping staff time and you money.

Bowers Brothers AMTA Apprenticeship Fund

Bowers Brothers Concrete Ltd, with support of New Zealand Landscape Supplies are launching an Apprenticeship Fund for the Auckland Masonry Trades Association, current and future apprentices.

For every Bowers block that is purchased by a member of the AMTA we will donate 1 cent to the fund.

With the help of NZLS, Drymix & Masonry Distributors, we are proud to donate $1750 to kick start this fund.

This fund commenced 1 July 2013 and applies to all Bowers Brothers blocks sold.

Weather?!

Apparently Auckland gets roughly the same amount of rain each year.

But this year we had a drought – hardly any to start with and now we have had heaps and it is only slowing down a little now. Perhaps the next few months will give us a respite and let things dry up a bit so we can get some work done.

Keep an eye out for the weather forecast – coming shortly to the NZLS website.
