The NZ Landscape and Garden Supplies APRIL 2016 Newsletter.
Apologies for the delay in this month’s edition of The Dirt.
The end of the financial year and all the things that need to be done around this time are distracting and time consuming. So far the weather has been pretty good and thanks to plenty of moisture it has been a good planting season but not so much rain that projects are getting delayed.
Speaking of projects, we welcome enquiries from our customers relating to upcoming projects. We now have three fulltime reps on the road that can come to you and help provide pricing and hopefully some solutions to your requirements for product.
NZ Landscape Supplies endeavour to carry full stocks of as much of our products in as many of our yards as possible. If you cannot get what you want in your nearest yard please make it known to us so we can either get the product for you or direct you to where we do have sufficient stock for your needs.
Kaiaua Pebble and Gold Rush Pebble
It is coming up to a year since we started stocking both these products and they have been a real winner for ourselves and of course the customers that choose to use them.
Made popular in the late 90’s and through the past 15 or so years it has become the go to product that has allowed any home gardener or Landscape designer to get the most from their large or small plot of land.
Exclusive to NZ Landscape Supplies you can’t go wrong with either of these products.
New General Manager
I would like to take this opportunity to announce the appointment of John Eady as our new GM.
Some of you will have already met John, perhaps in one of our branches, as he has moved around while getting to know our business and familiarising himself with our operation.
John comes from a background in retailing with many years of experience with Mitre 10 and Placemakers. He is a welcome addition to our company and will help us drive our business to setting the standard in our industry segment.
So if you see someone new when you call in please make yourself known to John so he can put a face to a name.
It is unfortunate that I have to announce the closure of our small Boutique yard within Kings Plant Barn in Porana Rd on the North Shore. It has traded since September 2014 but has never really kicked into profit in all that time. The closure will take place by the end of April.
We will relocate the product into our Albany yard located at 15 Gills Rd in the old Albany village just down from Albany Toyota. Joel will move there as well so you can catch up with him at the Albany Yard.
